My Xiaomi "Mi Band 3" fitness tracker has popped off my arm several times, usually when putting on a coat or brushing my arm against something. The band is held by a small peg-in-hole arrangement which is easily opened. This clip slides over the band to keep the end of the band from passing through the loop. That makes it much harder for the band to fall off unnoticed. You can install it two ways: 1) snap it over the Mi band strap - it helps to sort of curl the strap to make it a bit more narrow; 2) pop the latch button out of the strap, put the end of the strap through the strap loop, slide the keeper onto the strap, then replace the latch button. Note that the open side of the keeper faces away from your arm.
