Fun prop build of the MiB J2 pistol as seen in 1997's Men In Black. 1:1 scale with multiple parts designed to allow for a spring loaded trigger and with adding electronics to it at some point. Printed on my Flash Forge Creator Pro with PLA and Ninja Flex for the grips. =) All parts are arranged to best fit the FF so some adjustment may be required. Print speed varied between 30 and 50mms, slower on the two gun halves and grips worked best. Parts used that were not printed is a spring, 3 screws with nuts and a small set screw which were all found at Lowe's. UPDATE: The spring used for the trigger is found at Lowe's as are the screws. The Spring it's self is an (Extension Spring-7.14mm x 57.15mm x .065mm) and come 2 to a pack. The screws used are Pan Head Phillips #4 x 3/8" that comes 24 to a pack and 3 6-32nd x 1.25" machine screws w/nuts tho these 3 screws are not screen accurate. For that you will need 3 M3 x 1.25" w/nuts in anodized black. The battery holder I purchased at Fry's electronicshttp://www.frys.com/product/2965475?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG Please feel free to post pictures of your print builds, I'd love to see them! =) Print Settings Printer: Flash Forge Creator Pro Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: Medium to High Infill: 45-65% Notes: Print speeds on my FF was 30-50mms depending on which part I was printing and I generally did not print with rafts only skirts.
