Viper Jet engine type 8 fuel pump

This is a swash plate pump giving a variable flow rate regardless of pressure. It embody's an overspeed governer and the swash angle which controls flow rate is in turn controlled hydraulically by pilot pressure from the barometric control unit and the air/fuel ratio control valve which in turn is controlled by the pilot. Lubrication is done by the fuel itself and the front bushes receive oil from the drive gearbox. Excess fuel is leaked back to the tank.
