Mic Boom Arm Phone/Camera Holder Clamp

Mic Boom Arm Phone/Camera Holder Clamp

This is a phone clamp that can be used to mount a phone (or whatever) to a spring loaded microphone boom arm like the Innogear or even an expensive Rode PSA1. You can go to amazon or aliexpress and search for "boom arm", and sort by price to find one for under $10 usd. If it's got a 3/8-16 rod at the end, it will work. This is designed to be VERY easy to print, and quite strong. It requires no extra parts (besides the boom arm). **To Assemble you will need to print the following:** 1x Mount Rod 1x Frame Bolt 1x Clamp Frame 3x Nut 2x Clamp Tooth (short or long) The LONG Clamp Tooth fits any phone/thing that is 91mm wide. If you don't like excess bolt sticking out the sides on wider devices, you can use the SHORT teeth instead but then it will not clamp smaller devices. The teeth are 15 minute prints, recommend start with LONG and see if if meets your device's needs. This fits 3/8-16 size bolts on (nearly all) mic boom arms. You may need to remove a larger adaptor from the arm to expose this smaller bolt. The female threaded parts have their 3/8-16 threaded holes expanded by 10% to accomodate PLA shrinking interior holes a bit. This shouldn't need an EXACTLY calibrated printer to print, but if you encounter a problem: **If the Mount Rod won't fit the boom arm, print it at 105% scale. If it is loose, print it at 95% scale. If the Nuts do not fit the teeth and frame bolt, print the nuts at 105% scale, etc.**
