Mic Boom Stand Hinge

Mic Boom Stand Hinge

Hinge I made for a floor standing microphone arm with a 3/18 - 16 thread The threads were made possible by Dan Kirshner and his "threads.scad" (included here for ease of use) The 'thread test' stil file is just the threads part and is has the threads scaled up by 1.1x because at 1:1 scale they were a tiny bit too small and should be used to test whether the threads will print and work for you (test file was not generated by the openscad file directly but by compiling the hinge and using netfabb basic to cut the threads off). Not for use with heavy and/or expensive equipment, I have no control over print quality or materials used, any loss due to the usage of this item is entirely upon the end user. Print Settings Printer: Mendel90 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20% + Notes: Designed to print without supports and in the orientation it sits (both pieces horizontal in case your software imports it funny), however the choice is up to you.
