Michelangelo's Pietà detail, reduced to 150k faces

thingiverse

This is a copy of Cosmo Wenman's scan of part of the Met's cast of Michelangelo's Pietà, decimated in Meshlab from over 2.5 million facets to 150 thousand. This makes it a bit easier to slice, etc., on low-end machines. The loss of detail is neglible if printing at small scale and low resolution. Instructions Printed at 25% scale with 0.3 mm layers. First print with this filament; should have turned temperature up a bit for better bonding. (Annoyed at the separated layer visible in her cheeks - I was printing at 190 C.)
