This coil form was created for classes at the Dallas Makerspace on creating a morse code radio transmitter based upon the classic Michigan Mighty Mite circuit. The class materials are available at https://dallasmakerspace.org/wiki/MichiganMightyMite#Michigan_Mighty_Mite_QRP_CW_.28Morse_Code.29_Transmitter The coil form assumes 22 awg enameled wire for the primary, which is tapped at 15 turns and has a total of 45 turns (including the tap). There are holes to secure the wire for starting, ending, and at the tap. The form also has ribs at the top and bottom to prevent the wire unraveling when winding the coil. This form was designed to address the problems students were having winding the coil on 35mm film canisters.
