<p>A 3D printable robust and durable <strong>Micro/Needle File Handle</strong>,<strong> </strong>designed to accept a precision file with a 3 mm (~.118”) round tail.</p><p>The design can be easily 3D printed, without any support, on a smaller size hobbyist 3D Printer. It can be printed with a variety of materials, including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA and many other types of printable materials.</p><p>Note that the design works well for my micro precision file set. Different manufacturers may have different file tail sizes. Therefore, please be aware that “<i><strong>your mileage may vary!</strong></i>”</p><p>PLA works well for this application as long as the parts will not be used, stored or kept in a high temperature environment, exceeding ~55 C (~ 130 F).</p><p>PETG is another excellent choices.</p><p>The object should be durable, easy to maintain, and last for a long time.</p><p><strong>Printing Details</strong></p><p><strong>Recommended print settings with a .4 mm nozzle</strong></p><p>- Layer Height: .2 mm</p><p>- 3 perimeters or shells (1.35 ~ 1.5 mm)</p><p>- 7 bottom layers (1.4 mm)</p><p>- 7 top layers (1.4 mm)</p><p>- Infill 15%~20%, depending on infill type</p><p><i>Note: Depending on your printer’s calibration , the filament tolerances and your particular micro file, the hole may need to be reamed slightly larger (3 mm or more) with an appropriate drill bit.</i></p><p><br>Please feel free to visit my store on My Mini Factory to view the other objects that I designed: <a href="https://www.myminifactory.com/users/DanoSoft">https://www.myminifactory.com/users/DanoSoft</a><br>&nbsp;</p>
