Micro Overflow

Micro Overflow

thingiverse

This is a "micro" overflow designed for small tanks with a drip system. It won't handle a high volume of throughput, but does well enough for my purposes without overwhelming a smaller tank. It is made for Aqueon tanks, but it should fit any standard aquarium. Just hook up the tubing, and push some water in the intake chamber with a turkey baster and it's primed; nice and easy! It is designed around 3/8" OD / 1/4" ID flexible tubing, but can handle standard airline tubing for the "over the wall" part. It shouldn't matter, but somewhere in my head, I like the idea that the input doesn't overwhelm the output. There is a "standard" version that keeps the level about half-way up the black rim, which is where I prefer it. There is also an "elongated version" which hangs about 10mm lower, in the event that you like it lower, or your tanks are not level like my daughter's. Version 4 is the first published build. It has stronger teeth on the intake chamber, a standoff at the bottom, ridges for added strength along the top hanger, and standoffs inside the chambers to keep the tubing from bottoming out and restricting flow.
