This highly compact planetary gear system measures approximately 63mm x 38mm x 38mm and has a total gear ratio of 39:1. Each unit is self contained but can be extended to create a much larger gear ratio. Be sure to use support material on the sun gears and carriers. Post-Printing Sanding may be necessary to improve tolerances. A high viscosity lubricant or grease like petroleum jelly is recommended.
