Micro QUAD Extruder - Quick-Fit

Number 5 of 5 for Gyrobot's Extruder Week. The last extruder in this weeks range. A RichRap Quick-Fit compatible base for the attachment of two of my Micro DUAL Extruders to make a Quick-Fit QUAD. Although it looks large (105mm x 84mm), and "Micro" and "Quad" are not synonymous, it fits perfectly within the footprint of the Quick-Fit X carriage. There are also 65mm pitched M4 holes to enable it to be base mounted too. Disclaimer : As mentioned in the original thing, this quad extruder for experimentalists pushing new frontiers, as far as I know, there is no turn-key solution for quad electronics yet, so this has not been tested. I don't know if it will keep cool sufficiently but feel free to make/test and report your findings. http://www.gyrobot.co.ukhttp://www.facebook.com/gyrobotuk Instructions Print with support. Attach four of the M6 hotends (I use extended Recreus Hotends) and align the backing nuts so that they fit into the slots in the extruder bodies. The heatsinks should fit perfectly above the Quick Fit carriage aperture. The extruders are each kept in place by single M4 screws with captive nut pushed into the underside of this base. The M6 nuts on the top of the hot ends (see photo) keep the extruder from turning. I had to notch out the carriage aperture profile a little with a file/knife to clear the hotends when quick releasing.
