Micro SD Case

thingiverse

A small sleeve and retention clip for a single Micro-SD card. Protect your SD cards from mechanical damage and dust. The sleeve features both an internal retention bump that engages with the card's notch, and a folding retention clip to prevent the card from accidentally sliding out of the sleeve. Card orientation is marked on the outside of sleeve to help insert the card with the correct polarity. Due to the tiny dimensions of the sleeve, some post printing clean-up is required before use or you may risk getting your card jammed in the sleeve. Use a watchmaker's screwdriver/metal nail file or similar metal tool (.7mm width) to ensure all printing flashing/string is removed from inside the sleeve. To ensure the smooth operation of the card retaining clip, work the hinge before use. Assemble the sleeve and clip, firmly squeeze the clip legs against the sleeve and wiggle the sleeve within the hinge a few times, this will remove the texture left by print layers from the hinge and allow it to operate smoothly. I have also included a Cura file to produce 4 sleeves in a single print.
