Micro Snowflakes - from the Snowflake Machine

Micro Snowflakes - from the Snowflake Machine

thingiverse

These microscopic snowflakes are about 15mm wide and were created using the Snowflake Machine. The models have been fine-tuned for printing on an Ultimaker 2 with ABS material and a .25mm nozzle featuring the Olsson block, at "Ulti quality" 0.04mm layer thickness. If you want tiny snowflakes that are pre-tested and ready to use, print these. However, it's more exciting to design your own unique patterns, so feel free to experiment on the Snowflake Machine! For printing snowflakes that are 15mm across, adjust the "Target Diameter" setting to 15 in the "Global Size Settings." For this size, reduce the steps to 4-5 and keep the thickness of the strands low by reducing "fat," "organic," "fuzzy," and "full" parameters to minimum values.
