This enclosure is designed to house a compact micro-sized speaker measuring just 15mm by 11mm by 3.5mm, ideal for installation within an RC transmitter. The Knowles 2403-260-00001 speaker, available through Digikey and other suppliers, fits snugly inside the box, providing ample airspace that allows it to produce a surprisingly robust sound. The speaker is set approximately 1.5mm deep into the enclosure and should fit securely in place. Once connected to your player, this compact speaker will deliver a much larger sound experience. UPDATED: VERSION 2 The design now includes parameters for size and fit, as well as calculations for recommended sound chamber depth. I have also included updated STL files for two different dimensions: 15mm x 11mm and 16mm x 9mm.
