Microbit Controller

Microbit Controller

thingiverse

A controller case for the BBC Microbit. This controller holds a AAA battery pack and the Microbit. It fits well and feels comfortable, even in my big hands. This is great for creating a controller for a remote cars/vehicles/cameras (using the excellent radio feature between two Microbits) or use it for an extension to a standalone on-screen games. The intent is to create this with a flexible type filament. The microbit and the battery pack is held in position by flexible form. Therefore, making this from standard ABS and PLA etc probably will not work, or would need to be altered. On request I would happy share the Fusion file for this model. I have created it in both TPE and Flex PLA. Use a low fill amount - 15% to 25% - keeps it flexible A wall thickness of 2mm. Of course you need support as there are no flats sides. I have printed it top side up, as flexible filament support is hard to clean (I only have a single extruder). Enjoy
