Surface mounting for microbit with battery box. =================================== Printed in PLA, the mount is just flexible enough to clip a microbit into place, and slide a standard battery box in. There are four screw holes for attaching the mount to a surface. Once fixed in place with screws, the mount holds the microbit firmly. My Prusa printer manages to print the horizontal battery clip with a minimum of stringing. An alternative design could have a separate horizontal clip that snaps in place. This was designed in FreeCAD, and the fcstd file is included here, in case you'd like to amend it. Note: the automatic preview (blue image) seems to be rotated. FreeCAD appears to use a different orientation compared to Thingiverse, and Blender. It should load OK in your slicer app but let me know if there are any problems.
