Micromake Kossel Bed Fan Mount (40mm)

If you have a Micromake Kossel and you want to cool your bed separately to the hot-end you will require two fans, the one that comes with the kit is a 40mm so I started there. This does not take up too much additional space and gives a lot of air to the bed without blowing on the extruder too much. If printing PLA I recommend that you activate the fan after a few layers have been put down so as not to shrink the adhesive layers too much. I also made a clip-on fan for the E3D clone which I recommend to use together with this, see photos. If you are going to make both, make the clip on one first so you can cool the hot-end fins. Instructions Printed in PLA with flat side down 0.2mm @ 30mm/s 200c, hot bed off, used tape for adhesion I use Cura and gave it 15% fill and used support also but that might not be necessary. My pic shows an earlier print where I had the extrusion too low thus looks a bit grainy, I fixed that up though.
