I was inspired by the micrometer stand published on https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1978067 to make a new version where the micrometer is tilted on 45 degrees for better visibility of the LCD screen (if the micrometer stays vertically it's difficult to read the values on LCD). There are small variations of the micrometer contour between different models so after printing I heated the channel for the micrometer with hot air and pushed the micrometer. Inserted a thin 0.5mm metal sheet 9mm wide, 15mm long between the screw and the finger which holds the micrometer to prevent the screw to damage the finger and to apply even force on the surface. Was used rectangular shape M4 nut.
