Microphone Amplifier Box

Microphone Amplifier Box

thingiverse

This is a box I made to house a small microphone amplifier circuit I purchased on eBay from udani32. Instructions I printed this in PLA with a stock Replicator 2. Print both sides with the flat side down. A standard High setting with .15mm layer height, supports and 15% infill should work fine. I strongly recommend a raft when printing boxes to prevent warping. See the attached profile for a raft that is easier to remove than the rafts provided in the stock profiles. Purchase a male and female XLR jack like this one Assemble the circuit board per the instructions. Insert into the bottom piece so that board rests in the pegs. Insert a 12v power source (I used an old AC adapter) through the provided hole. Solder to the input. Snap the top piece of the box onto the bottom. Press the XLR jacks into the inset holes and use small screws to secure them.
