Microphone Clamp

Microphone Clamp

Fits for example an SM58 microphone and similar models, and has a 3/8" inside thread for mounting it to a microphone stand. Requires an M6x25 internal hex screw with corresponding nut (see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2518438). In contrast to the original thing (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:333971), this one doesn't require a nut at the bottom to mount to the stand, but has the thread readily included. Also, I heavily rounded the edges and completely redesigned the upper part holding the mic for a nice look, maximum adjustability and stable grip. All parts seem to be very stable and durable with only 20% infill, but I didn't test them in prolonged use yet. I printed the clamp with supports and the other parts without supports and had very good results. See the Cura screenshot for my recommended printing orientations. This works best for me, but also my print bed adhesion is extremely strong, so a different orientation for the clamp might work better for different printers. Update Sept., 21st: The hex inset of the knob was a little too large, so it didn't fit all screw heads. I slightly reduced the sizes. Sorry for the inconvenience! Update Sept., 22nd: I added a slightly reinforced version (mic_clamp4.stl), in case you don't trust the stability or want a tighter grip on the microphone. It simply has .5 mm thicker walls around the microphone.
