To reduce camera noise interference, I crafted a shock mount for my Sony EX-1 microphone with a maximum length of 5 CM, though a 7 CM version is also available. This two-part design eliminates the need for support material and requires only male and female parts to be slid together snugly. Completion involves adding four rubber bands; the file was created in 3D Studio MAX.
