After breaking the joint of my boom arm microphone stand, I decided to try my hand at designing one. I looked to some available products for inspiration and used the hardware from the old one. The diameter for both tubes is 5/8", the bolt appears to be a 1-1/4" long 5/16" carriage bolt, with a matching t-bar nut. (included fusion360 file uses mm cause that's what i am used to) The hole for the pole is not threaded, but clearance is tight enough on my print for the threading to get some bite into the print. A small self tapping screw would probably hold fairly tightly as long as you pre-drill the printed part first. The connection is not 100% sturdy as the mating faces are both smooth. Perhaps a thin sheet of foam or rubber could be glued to the base side to add some friction. Objects are already oriented for optimal printing, part 1 should print fine without support. Part 2 will need a small amount of support for the recessed hole. Parametric file is also included if you would like to make any changes.
