Microscope Camera from Lifecam Studio

This is my own remix. previously I used lifecam HD3000 in my Motic 143 microscope but I found a better quality Microsoft Lifecam Studio in a thrift store. This one allows for full 1080 HD, while the HD3000 has only 720. So the bracket had to be redone. I know, there is small chance someone will have the same microscope, but you can use this as an idea. There is more info in the original post.. You will find lot of info how to disassemble the Lifecam Studio - it is a common camera that people use for astronomy or microscope. It is nice, sharp and has full windows compatibility. In fact it probably offers better image than if you buy dedicated microscope camera. Remember, you need IR/UV filter (there is one on the back of the lens, but it would be hard to reuse - it is too tiny). My microscope had filter, as it was fitted with old CCD camera (that was last supported in windows 95) I use SharpCap software with it.
