This is holder for a few microsd cards, to keep in electronics bag. I took some inspiration from famous thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:633436. Let's call it Thing2015. But was not entirely satisfied, and couldn't find design that ticks all my boxes, so I designed my own. These checkboxes are ticked for me here: - here dimensions are precise. If you have calibrated printer, the thing should print OK and function OK. No scaling needed. - here card is inserted from side and holding in place with slight bending. I found it practical. Card removal requires to squeze and push, ok for me. (I tried "open top" design, but coudn't make it - when holder is bent - all cards would fall out - too dangerous for such small objects). - here no screws are required - top and bottom fasteners are printed and click in place. If your printer is underextruding and connection is loose - add drop of glue or try welding joint by heat. - here - all card slots are accessible, no slots hidden behind hinge. - here - middle section clicks in home position - there is a small lip. - included files provide 1 (4 cards) or 2 (8 cards) layer construction. openscad provided if you want to explore. - size is elongated (as in original Thing) so it can be easier found in electronics pocket. - when closed cards are not touching outside world, so can be mixed into electronics pocket. update: scad file adjusted so it is customisable part now. Slot adjusted now for easier card insert and removal. Closing lip is now without tolerance, so it is tighter.
