Microtome Slicer

Microtome Slicer

thingiverse

I can't justify the cost of a microtome to make slides for my beautiful vintage microscope. So decided to make one. It can slice better than 0.01 slices, leaves one hand free (in case the sample moves) and is relatively safe (compared to the more affordable handheld microtomes). You will need :- Scraper blade as sold for ceramic hobs and aquariums M10x20x2 washer, M5 washers, regular and penny (oversize) M5x40x0.5 screw with 8mm hex head, M5 bolt with unthreaded part 8 – 12 mm long M5 locknut and nuts, M3x10 screws and nuts
