Midway Gardens Sprite - Frank Lloyd Wright

Midway Gardens Sprite - Frank Lloyd Wright

thingiverse

A collaboration between Frank Lloyd Wright and Italian-American sculptor Alfonso Iannelli. This statue was created for Midway Gardens in Chicago (1915), and multiple copies were cast in concrete. Support will be needed for the main model, and building it lying down will keep support off of the front aesthetic surfaces. The sceptre press fits into place, use a file or sandpaper on the sides if needed. After weeks of work, and numerous reference photos, this is a very close copy of the original design. Please consider sharing a make!
