Miele S771 Bag RetainerThis is a bag retainer for a specific vacuum cleaner (the Miele S771) that will hold the type of dust bag as seen in these pictures. This bag type however is being used by a huge number of other vacuum cleaners of many different brands and types. So I assume that with some modifications to the geometry that slides into the machine itself, it might be suitable for many other vacuum cleaners I.e. the bag holder slot is more generally applicable than the base plate that specifically fits the slot of the Miele S771. I do not know how the original part looks like, because I could not find this part as a spare part on the internet. Almost every part can be found for Miele vacuum cleaners but this bag retainer part (for this particular machine) was impossible to find. (At least that was my experience, when trying to find this part after my mother accidentally threw away the bag retainer with the bag, rendering her Miele S771 useless). Apparently the original bag retainer is easily mistakenly pulled out of the machine together with the bag, so therefore I hope this thingi might be useful to some other people having the same experience of accidentally dumping the original retainer in the waste bin. 3D printing settings: Material: white Polycarbonate (Polymaker PC-MAX) Printing temperature: 265° Bed temperature: 90° Print speed: 30-70 mm/sec Bed surface material: glass covered with waterproof white wood glue (Bison) fully hardened and dried. How to use this part: After opening the lit of the machine, first slide the part into the retainer slot in the Miele S711 ("Parquet Special") vacuum cleaner, and push it down firmly, until it is locked by two "teeth" that fall into a hole in the retainer and firmly "clicks" into position Then slide the dust bag into the slot in the bag retainer and push until you feel (and hear) a click and the bag can not be pushed any further. The bag is now in its proper position and the lit of the Miele S771 can now be closed. You will see that the rubber sealing ring of the bag will snugly "wrap" itself around the hose-mouth-piece while closing the lit. Removing the bag is just a matter of pulling it (with some force) out of the retainer slot.
