This is a model of a one sided blank tile that should be compatible with Mighty Empire Tiles. Instructions The scad file contains all the settings to make interlocking hex tiles. There is a compensation section to adjust the tabs so the tiles will interlock properly: // Print Compensation // // Set these all to 0 if printing on a 100% accurate printer. Tabs and Slots will // match exactly - increase this to allow for perimeter width tolerances. // The settings are what I needed for a calibrated mendle with a 0.5mm J-jead printing // 0.3mm layer height. // comp_tab_width = 0.5; // total gap between angled tab sides comp_tab_length = 0.2; // amount tab is shorter than the tile_wall_thickness comp_hole = 0.5; // increase the banner hole size The stl file is set up to compensate for my printer's ooziness, and used the values as they exist in the scad file. YMMV printing straight from this. The two middle tiles in the uploaded picture are with these settings.
