baked version 001 - 100k face target, 8k color, normal, ao – fbx for import to Sketchfab A few weeks ago, I scanned this tree using bits from a few minutes of video that I made during a particularly bright and sunny day. Though there is much detail missing, there were enough large areas of dense coverge to warrant testing a raw point cloud vertex color bake. ( decimated cloud available for download here: https://skfb.ly/6QDtx ) Here are the results of that as a free cc0 download, please enjoy and tell a friend :) Please enjoy another hastily baked mid-poly mesh made by baking a dense cloud onto a mid-poly quad mesh generated from the cloud. Houdini is the primary tool used for all geometry work, baking and export to Sketchfab. The workflow auto-generates UVs for the low-poly quad model before the bake. These didn’t turn out too bad for revision 001. Thank you for visiting! - Alan/Organic Tools used: ffmpeg, python, colmap, houdini https://www.instagram.com/organiccomputer/
