# Mikrotik to Ubiquiti Mounting Adapter This adapter was designed to permit a Mikrotik Basebox5 radio to be mounted on a Ubiquiti RocketDish (RD-5G30-LW). There used to be a commercial product that performed this function, but, at least currently, it is not available in the US. There are two versions. ## **Standard Version** The standard version is a direct 1:1 mounting plate that positions the radio in the same spot as the Ubiquiti radio (in this case, a Rocket M5.) Printed in black filament in the pictures. This would be suitable to mount on an omni antenna such as the AMO2G-10. ## **Extended Version** The extended version (clear) offsets the mounting position down by 240mm. This was done because the position of the standard mount on the RocketDish results in the top of the Basebox5 being too high, preventing the cowl from being installed. With the extended version, there is room to insert the cowl and twist it to lock, but in order to provide enough room for this, there is a gap between the base of the cowl and the top of the radio. You may want to tape over this gap.
