Furthermore, curling off the platform is great for this pose as it lifts the stray strands of hair up, so her hair doesn't fall flat. I'm rather particular about cleanliness, so I could never endorse such a hairstyle, but there are times like these when it's handy to have support pillars growing out of the back of your head. Renders were taken of a later frame, when I had let the hair fly up and start falling down. Instructions Instead of putting any effort into support for this model, I just spent all the time into posing the figure instead. The not-working model I got from a poisson mesh reconstruction. Apparently, a 2x super-sample is still not enough points for a good reconstruction. Also, reconstruction didn't expect points with backwards normals existing inside of model, but that's exactly what it got. Working model I got through passing through netfabb
