It is also very often possible to see it in the possession of civilians or in the form of a mobile scientific laboratory. "Pioneer" among other machines of this class is distinguished by manufacturability of production, the potential for modernization as well as moderate cost. There are three main modifications of the truck: 1) Civil modification. A simplified version of the "Pioneer", designed for the civilian market. 2) Hardened modification. It is intended for use on planets with a harsh climate or in harsh environmental conditions. 3) Combat modification. This is a truck for support and transportation of infantry.
