This is a Y axis thrust bearing guard for the Indian mill plate seen in my videos of the Drill press to mill conversion. https://youtu.be/rsgLIzSfq9U and https://youtu.be/_5m9vx51WQc Using this guard adds almost 26mm of travel to the Y axis compared to the original, it also gives better protection from chips.
