A FIDGET SPINNER, based on the model of a MILL WHEEL.The model can be built up in two different versions.First version:The "Mill Wheels", completely made of metal, without using the seperate, inserted metal blocks, or if you want to increase the moment of inertia, you can use the metal blocks, up to 16 parts.Second version:The "Mill Wheels" and the ball bearing covers are made of plastic.The "Mill Wheels" and the ball bearing covers are made of wood.In both cases you should use the 16 seperate metal blocks,to get a higher moment of inertia, for a longer lasting spinning.Notes:The metal blocks can also replaced by precious stonesor coloured glass parts, to get a nice visual effect during spinning.See the animation, done with »KeyShot 4«Parameters of animation:Frames per second: 25 fpsPeriod/ cycle of animation: 4 secondsTotal frames per period/ cycle: 100 framesRotational speed: 15 per minuteThe model is available in following data formats:STEP-file (.stp) of the complete assembly,and native files (.prt) and (.asm), in a (.zip)-folder,for all users of »PTC Creo Parametric 2.0«
