Millennium Falcon Fine Molds Style Stand for AMT ERTL Falcon Model Kit

Replica of the Fine Molds Millennium Falcon stand, sized to fit the AMT/ERTL model kit. I was looking for a stand to display my cut away Flacon model, since it was a rescue that was missing the landing gear. After multiple tries I came across the Fine Molds instructions and based this on that design. This was the first stand I created and one of the first projects I produced in my first month of 3D printing. So, there is room for improvement in the print and build. All the files were created in Blender. If you wish to make, you will need to print 2 of the connector pieces to join together. Everything stays together with no glue, due to tight tolerances. I also, cut pieces of rubber hose to help grip the underside of the falcon. It has been stable and on the shelf for two months now. While not the prettiest print job, it is functional and a nice design. In use, it's not a visual draw, since it is fairly well concealed. Hopefully this will help out a few others with their kits!
