Milling Machine - Knee Mill

This model represents the foundation of milling and manufacturing. I believe all machinists in the world made some of their first cuts on a machine similar to this! I began this project as a gift for my father who recently hung up his mics and stepped into retirement and I wanted to make him something unique. The pieces of this model are all separate so you can choose your color palette and are intended to be glued together. There are some alignment pegs to print to aid in alignment. Any items with 2x or 3x at the end of the file names are intended to have that many copies of the file printed to complete the model. There is also an optional power feed adapter ( Mill - X-power_feed_option) to use in place of one of the x_handle_adapter files. The DRO arm and DRO are also optional and are simply glued to the side of the head column. The table, y axis, z axis knee, and head column are all dovetailed so they can be left to move. All other pieces should be glued in place.
