Noticed that there was play in the Z-Axis of my MillRight Mega V XL Z-Axis and after researching Stepper motors found that they are not designed to take thrust loads. Most lead/ball screw drives have a thrust bearing before the motor coupling to eliminate the play. Without completely redesigning the mounting, the best I could do was put the thrust bearing in-between the coupling and the motor.
