I designed this because I was not happy with the OEM dust collection on my Milwaukee Miter Saw, my preference in the shop is to connect my vacuum to it so that I have less cleanup afterward, but the saw came with a rectangular port for some strange reason. A simple adapter will allow regular shop vacs to work with this saw.
