The battery has recessed contacts for cell 1 negative and cell 3 positive, but it has exposed contacts for 2 intermediate balancing contacts which can short out.</p> <p>The cap friction fits on to the battery with a firm hold, yet can be pulled off when you tug on it.</p> <p>This is the basic and first version, future features will include:</p> <ul> <li>More aesthetic clean lines</li> <li>Redesign to full length that protects the locking tabs</li> <li>Design a variant that can clip onto a carabiner for easy carrying on a belt or tool bag</li> <li>Design a variant that can be mounted onto surfaces.</li> </ul> Category: Tools
