Milwaukee M28 socket, wall mount and blind socket

thingiverse

A device-side connector (socket) for the Milwaukee M28 powertool system. Identical to the Wuerth 28 V powertool system. The shape of this design is identical to the one found on Milwaukee M28 devices, in this case the jigsaw. You can use this socket as part of your own devices and adapters that connect to Milwaukee M28 batteries. In addition, a battery wall mount is provided that also doubles as a battery isolator when not mounted to a wall. This is simply a blind socket / blind plate that clips into a battery pack and prevents accidental short circuits during transport; with two holes for 5.0 mm countersunk Spax screws so you can screw it to the wall. This is a parametric design done in OpenSCAD. You can adapt all measures in `measures.scad`. But you'll need to install and run OpenSCAD on your computer, since the Thingiverse Customizer can not handle file inclusion. The latest version of this design's OpenSCAD source code can always be found in [its Github repository](https://github.com/tanius/openscad-models/tree/master/milwaukee-m28). **Attention:** The socket part may have issues to interface with the battery terminals correctly, as it was reported that the terminals hit the socket ca. 2-3 mm too low. There is no issue with the wall mount / blind socket though, as it does not have the terminal block.
