Minecraft Chess Set

<p>Mostly pixel-by-pixel representations of characters from the game Minecraft by Mojang, who owns them. A few very small modifications were made to reduce bridging, and feet were added to improve stability.</p> <p>The theme for this set is Overworld Mobs. The same piece is used twice for the king and queen. To tell them apart, you can replace one of the Endermen heads with a Pumpkin head. I admit that this is a pretty bad workaround.</p> <p>Print each team in one color if they will be used for playing chess. When scaled up 1.5, they make great toys for toddlers.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>Most pieces are printed in two parts; the head snaps on to the body after printing. I decided that a little too tight was preferable to a little too loose. Place the head upside down on a hard surface, and firmly push the body down to snap it into place. Clean up with a knife as needed.</p> <p>Print each team in one color if they will be used for playing chess.</p> <p>When sized up 150 percent, the pieces make great toys for younger children.</p>
