Check out our nightlight inspired by the famous RedStone from Minecraft. It is composed of a cube, 120mm x 120mm x 120mm inlaid with holes on each side. The holes allow the light from the leds inside to pass through. In order for the result to be bright enough, we chose to put 96 NeoPixel leds (but everyone will be able to put the number of pixel that seems to be the most relevant). On the back side of the cube, a place is provided for a potentiometer, a push button cleverly hidden as well as an on/off button to easily turn on or off the night light. Is also provided in the base of the cube the location to put an arduino nano that will control the whole. The result is really nice! EDIT V1 of the circuit was not viable : bad management of the power supply of the whole. So we added a hole for a DC jack connector to power both the Arduino and the circuit. You will find the update of the circuit under git and the V2 of the box with the necessary hole. -- The assembly We propose a video to show you the assembly steps of this nightlight: see on youtube The source code You can find the source code for the arduino as well as the electronic assembly diagram by following this link
