Minelab Equinox Telescopic Shaft Parts (for Monopod Conversion)

These are the three files needed to convert a Neewer carbon fiber monopod into a shaft for the Minelab Equinox. Part 1 - Arm Cuff Part 2 - Coil Connection (suitable for 28mm top shaft) Part 3 - Control Pod Adapter (attached with zip ties) The parts are remixes of elements from different models on Thingiverse and I lost track of what I took from where. For mounting the Arm Cuff I used the existing screw / nut used on the monopod to make the connection and some epoxy putty to reinforce at the rear of the armrest - this version has a hole to pass the bolt through however version I printed did not and I drilled out / reinforced with epoxy putty. This being the only connection point for the armrest I thought it would be a bit flimsy however no issues so far. For mounting the Coil Connection I removed the first shaft element as I did not need that total length. The butt of the Coil Connection then slides inside the second shaft element and I used epoxy resin to seal it in place. For mounting the Control Pod Adapter I first found the ideal position and then put a double thickness of self fusing tape around the shaft at each location where the zip lock ties would sit. The Control Pod Adapter was then zip lock tied in place. If I want to transport without the Control Pod in place I just cut the zip lock ties and then remount on arrival. Note, clearing out the zip lock tie holes needs some time and care. Zip lock tie holes take 5mm zip ties - I have found both plastic and stainless steel on Amazon but only plastic worked well (as difficult to tension the stainless ones). Before mounting each of the elements I lightly sanded with Dremel and then sprayed with enamel paint. Elements were formed using PETG, 0.15mm layers, infill around 40%, supports everywhere, wall thickness 1.5mm, top and bottom thickness 1mm (7 layers). For the Coil Connection I increased the infill to around 60%. I have not used a great deal so far and will update if I get issues with longevity.
