Mingda Magician X Filament Holder Riser

<p>I wanted to be able to have a filament spool holder with ball bearings for my new Mingda Magician X vs the stock holder. I took the two holders and merged them using Tinkercad to be able to have a base holder from Tueftler-Maker and top slot from HugoHuge to make this.</p> <p>608ZZ bearings x 2 needed for HugoHuge's roller and guide that I have in the Thing files as well.</p> <p>I will add some pictures later of my actual holder.</p> <p>If the spool spins too well, you can add a piece of paper between the bearing and the roller holder which just makes it a tighter fit to the bearings.</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer:</strong></p> <p>Magician X</p> <p class="detail-setting rafts"><strong>Rafts: </strong> <div><p>Yes</p></div> <p><strong>Supports:</strong></p> <p>Yes</p> <p class="detail-setting infill"><strong>Infill: </strong> <div><p>20% cubic</p></div> <p><strong>Filament:</strong> Overture PLA 1.75mm Orange</p> <p><br/> <p class="detail-setting notes"><strong>Notes: </strong></p> </p><div><p>Riser post and holder guide: 1.2mm wall thickness, print speed of 50mm/s and .25 line height, Infill: 40% cubic, Support pattern: Zig Zag, Support density: 20-30%, Build plate adhesion: 5mm brim just to aid in taking off the plate. You can lay both flat on their sides to print.</p> Roller: 1.2mm wall thickness, print speed of 30mm/s and .2 line height, Infill: 20% cubic, Support pattern: Zig Zag, Support density: 20-30%,. You will want to have it print vertical and use supports and a good sized brim for this. I used a 10 mm brim. I also printed this by itself. </div></p></p> Category: 3D Printer Accessories
