Mini Brain Gears

Mini Brain Gears

I've always been fascinated by the art of creating bevel gears in OpenSCAD. To hone my skills, I designed a set of miniature brain gears using 1.75mm filament strips as axles. Given that these tiny axles are made from thin PLA, durability might be an issue, but so far, they've performed flawlessly. To make printing easier, I optimized the design for smooth workflow. Assembly was a breeze, and everything clicked into place on the first try. Initially, I worried that the curves in the filament strip might affect performance, but those concerns proved to be groundless as everything straightened out perfectly in the end
