A small centrifuge for 1.5ml tubes. The rotor can hold up to six tubes at once. It's driven by a DC motor, a PWM module and a 9V power supply. I used the following dc motor and pwm module:http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0013B6W2Uhttp://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00CWSO2IY What else do you need? glue for the material you use 2x M3x10 screws + nuts 4x M3x20 screws + 2 nuts each screw 1x power switch (- 1x power connector) 1x 9V power supply with at least 1A Instructions After printing all parts (you need two pieces of the motor hitch, all other parts 1x) I built the centrifuge in the following order: add the PWM knob and power switch to the bottom-part insert the motor into the motor mount and glue it on the mid-plate (don't forget to solder the cables to the motor before you glue the motor-mount) add the pwm module to the mid-plate by putting the screws from the top side through the mid plate and fix them with one nut. Put the pwm module on the screws and add another nut solder the remaining wires glue the mid-plate on top of bottom glue the rotor-protection on the mid-plate add the motor hitch by using the two M3x10 screws + nuts glue the lid knob to the lid if you printed rotor_bottom and rotor_top separately glue the two parts together You just have to put the rotor on the hitch. It stays there cause of its own weight. As there is nothing to avoid vibrations I added four of the mounts (one at each side) and put the whole thing on a board. I never needed more than 20% of max speed and had very good results.
