I went on a kick designing small parts trays a while back. This one is the smallest and cutest of the bunch. I use these mainly to prepare small rivets, buttons, etc. when working on a leather project, so I can keep the random boxes on my workbench to a minimum.

Print settings

This model prints in vase mode. That’s really the only requirement, but here’s what I recommend:

Spiral vase mode / Spiralize outer contour: turn this on, this is how the whole magic works

Line Width: 0.6mm (this should be a god mix of sturdy and economical)

Layer Height: 0.3mm (not necessarily required, but I like to keep things fast)

Bottom Thickness / Bottom Layers: 1.2mm (e.g. 4 layers at 0.3mm layer height)

Wall speed: 30mm/s (you are pushing a lot of plastic, so a slower speed is best, though if you are confident in your hot end you can go faster)

Printing Temperature: +5 degrees hotter than your usual temperature

Flow: 110% (because why not)

Notes

The blue one in the photos is an earlier design which did not allow stacking… but why throw away an already printed one? The white one (which is the uploaded model) shows the divider lines not reaching all the way to the top, allowing you to stack these trays on top of one another.
