G.I.A.P. stands for General Intent Adjustable Prongs. It is a mini desktop clamp for our scientists to hold reminder notes, wires for soldering or anything up to 2cm. It can be paired with our STOX series (https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/stox-m01-series) for added height. The almost-patented design is made up of only 6 parts yet its opposing inclined planes wrapped helically around an axis makes it resilient against wear and tear as compared to the traditional spring powered or compliant mechanism based counterparts. Fun Fact: The colloquial term for “pinch” is often referred to as “GIAP” in South-East Asian countries.
