This is the closest thing to a mechanical mod I can print. Simple, easy to print personal vaporizer, with very little parts count. The switch is made of brass strips and the spring is the deformation of the case. This works perfectly. It's uses an 18650 lithium battery. Use an AWIMR battery with protection circuit, for safety. I added a locking switch that slides a Mylar strip between the contact to make it pocket safe. I made the walls thicker and added reinforcements to the screw pins. I just printed it out without support or raft on my Da Vinci 1.0 printer at normal setting and it worked like a charm.. Instructions I printed it with PLA with 50 % infill and full support. It's easy to clean up since the support is very small. You will need 3, #4 X 3/4" wood screws countersink a small amount of #16 wire and some .5mm brass shim stock. You will also need a ecig. connector or a 510 to 510 adapter or an Ego to 510 adapter. I put in a print of the template for cutting the brass and another for bending the switch pate.
