<h1>Mini keyring carriage key</h1> ## by <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/dar01/designs">DAR01</a>.</p> This is a key ring style cut down version of the main key type from a <b>British Rail Tee key (carriage key)</b>. No one ever seems to have their Tee key on them when needed, so I designed this so that if you have your keys, you have the main element of the Tee key that will work on many applications, although some locks/switches do need the longer shaft to work. Obviously, as this is printed plastic it isn't as strong or durable as the original key, so it probably isn't advisable to rely on this or use it all the time and certainly some locks do require more force than this could handle. *** <h2>Designers comments on use of this Thingiverse design and others</h2> Feedback/comments, <i>Likes</i> and <i>Collects</i> are all gratefully received, as well as users posting their <i>Makes</i>. I put my designs on here for free as a kind of grateful payback for all the Thingiverse files I have downloaded and enjoyed making, especially when I started out into the 3D printing world, but seeing how these turn out for other people is even more worth it; even if you can't design your own models you can still give back to the community in other ways.
